Some days...you just shouldn't get out of bed

So...I was thinking it might be a relatively ok Friday. I got up, was feeling mostly rested and had a pretty happy outlook on life. Sometime during the evening or while sleeping, I had come across the solution I needed for my programming problem so I was jazzed to come in and work on it. Yes, it was looking rather sunshiney and happy. It was even yet another great hair day.

I came in, got Starbucks (the best way to start a Friday) and even managed to overlook the gloomy clouds resting over the heads of my two carpool-mates. Sat down, programmed away and got my solution all set. Started transferring over the data I needed to run the program on. And....kabloooie. The hard drive is full on the stupid server I'm working on. So I go looking for something to delete because I have to have the data locally in order to run this thing. And then ...my program disappears. Yes, being the idiot I am, I deleted my hard work. No problem, you say, just get it out of the recycle bin and all will be well...except that our sys admin had turned off the recycle bin so it just deletes things. (I am in no way blaming him. I'm the idiot who hit delete.) So...now I am physically ill. Seriously. I could vomit at any moment. I think I must be the most stupid person currently breathing on this planet. Sys admin is looking for a disk recovery utility to try and save my ass. If he manages this, I will be his slave.

Backups? What backups? We don't need no steeenking backups.

GAH!
