So apparently, I am in the process, even as we speak, of comitting a huge fashion faux pas. I did not know that people still followed the whole "no white shoes after labor day" thing. But apparently they do. Now, I do not own a pair of completely white shoes...well, that's not entirely true, I still have the white satin shoes I wore for my wedding, but they're in my shoe archive and don't actually ever get worn. (I don't know if the idea is that someone in my future will want to wear them or what...I probably should ditch them but, for now, they're in the archive for sentimental reasons.) But what I do have are spectator pumps. (They look kinda like the ones in the picture but not quite the same - general idea though, black toe, white slingback). Did you know that counted? I had no idea. However, the fashion police have seen fit to inform me today that these really are summer shoes and should not be worn in December.
All I have to say to that is: you probably didn't notice that I wore open toe shoes yesterday, did you?

You really must learn the use of target="_blank" so that us lazy people dont have to use the right mouse click "open in new window" menu item so that we dont get taken away from your blog while looking at your links.

OH, and I simply MUSt go change my footwear before I go to the job interview ... when I went outside, I noticed that I have one navy BLUE stocking on and one BLACK one.
ReplyDeleteTHAT is the definition of a fashion faux pas.
