makes me want to go outside for lunch and not come back to work.
Gosh it's a pretty day.
It really ought to be mandatory to provide spring break - outside of any allotted vacation - to your employees.
I wonder if I could convince people that I didn't need to be at work because I was out protesting. Cause really, if you're going to protest something, today's the day to do it (well, yesterday wasn't bad either, actually.) Ever notice how it's really only the truly dedicated who protest in December and January - you know, when it's uncomfortable to stand up for what you believe in, but you really truly believe it so you go out anyway?
Hm. I wonder if there'd be higher voter turnout if we moved election day to sometime in April when it was as good as an excuse as any to leave work for a while cause, gosh, it's a pretty day. Then again, given how the people who don't vote (who also tend to be the ones who whine incessantly) probably WOULD vote, maybe we ought to move election day toward the end of December.
And there we have, live and in color, the way my train of thought operates. At least on days when I'm really, really, really trying not to whine about my job. (Notice how many days I've made it so far? Gold star for beth!)
