A Few Random Things

Firstly, huge, amazing, exciting news that makes me want to just type in huge all caps and bold and italic and some crazy hard to read fancy font and put big exclamation points all over the place (Please notice my restraint, because seriously it's killing me to use plain ol' boring type for this news!): My friend Michelle, who I have known since my freshman year of high school and who is amazing and wonderful and talented and a terrific person has just gotten a contract for her very first historical romance novel...ok, I can't resist...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone must purchase a copy when it is available - I will let you know when it is that you must take a crisp $10 out to Borders and plunk it down. Now, they're probably retitling it, but for now just keep in mind His Chosen Bride. When I know the new title, I'll pass it along.

Secondly - if you're at all into infertility blogs or adoption blogs or any of that related genre, you probably already know that Karen and Random over at The Naked Ovary are in China (coming home soon) adopting their little girl, Maya. Go read it and drool over the cute kiddo pics and revel in the joys of their adoption experiences (written in her usual amusing style).

Finally, my sister reminded me that it's Talk Like a Pirate Day. And that my friends is blogworthy. Arrrr.....

More later in the form of a review of the season premier of The Amazing Race 10 - but I want to wait a little to give Jen a chance to put hers up cause, well, she's the whole reason I even know about the show and it doesn't seem right to post a summary thereof before her. Plus hers are really funny and good, so there might be something worth plagiarizing stealing. Why can I not spell that word?

  1. I'm afraid this first recap will be disappointing on the humor front. Looks to be a good season of TAR, though. Yay!

So post away on the premier and I'll link to it...could be you'll surpass my skillz at TAR recapping.

They're going to call it HER IRISH WARRIOR and it will be out in May. How cool is that??
