Hey! That stuffed pepper looks great. But more importanlty, that's Pfaltzgraff Sky, correct? That's our pattern too. Although your plate looks in much better shape than any of ours.
Someday I'll have to post the other side of the story... some of us do know how to cook.
Jim, it was tasty. The cheese is chipotle Gouda, which has just become a new favorite (and something that would probably kill Tim though I don't find it spicy, just a bit of tang.) It's actually Pfaltzgraff Northwinds, but it's very similar to Sky. That particular plate is probably one of 4 that isn't chipped or dinged in some manner. :) I lucked out for the photo.
I know many, many men can (and do!) cook, I suppose I should've made that caveat. And in fact it's the wife of our best friend couple who can't cook, so...I'm not as obtuse as it may seem. But Tim has burned Ramen (and no, he'll never live that down) - but he does make a mean frozen pizza and can grill like a maniac.
Yeah, I didn't really get it. If you'd showed me those two pictures and said, "which would you like to eat", I'd go frozen pizza all the way. The other just looks like... vegetables, and more vegetables.
Matt...I guess it would depend on the day cause, well, I really like Tombstone pizzas too. :) But I do see your point.
Gwynne, lol...I didn't even look at it that way. But, well, you make a point. I do like polenta but have a bad history of making it, may have to try that again sometime though now you mention it.

ReplyDeleteWow. I don't know what to say.

ReplyDeleteSorry, had to stick up for ma boy.
Actually, I was going to ask if these weren't just the same ingredients put together in two different ways? ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe cheese looks like polenta though...which would also be good (if you like polenta). Either way, yours looks much better.
