Random Things

  • We are back to our two doggies. It was fun to dog-sit my folks' dog, but it's also nice when he goes home as he's a 10 pound dog in a 60 pound body and just simply doesn't fit in laps like he wants to.
  • I went to see some model homes Sunday afternoon with a friend and her daughter (both Tim and her husband were cutting the respective lawns and thus unable to come.) I nearly choked trying not to laugh when I realized that the sales agent thought we were a non-traditional family and was trying to appear suave and sophisticated about the whole thing.
  • I am woefullly - seriously and utterly woefully - behind in my discussion posting for school. The thing is...I have nothing of interest to say on either subject and am considering beginning a count down to when they'll be finished. Although it's such a long time that would probably be very unmotivating.
  • Speaking of unmotivating, I still have no connectivity at work. Thus "unproductive" seems to be the word for my days. Soon I hope. Soon.
  • A friend of ours plays semi-pro football in the summer and, in honor of my woeful ignorance on the subject, has gifted me (us) with my very first Dummies book. So far it's interesting, and as a bonus, it's written by the cute guy Howie from the Radio Shack Commercials.
  • When I mentioned that I recognized him from the commericals, the friend who gave me the book nearly passed out. Apparently Howie is some kind of football legend. I haven't gotten to that part of the book yet.
  • Tim will be finished with this semester is just under 150 hours. Not that he's counting.

  1. That's funny (recognising the guy off the commericals)!

Hope you get more connectively at work soon!
