    See now, this is why I like you - you ask the important questions that I would otherwise miss. I'm not sure which it is. Given his love of all things cheesy, particularly if they are Kung Fu in nature, it is probably "Bite the wax, tadpole." Which would, of course, indicate that tadpole is a precursor step to being "Grasshopper."
