- This is becoming a trend around here. Sorry. But without the wealth of blog fodder provided by coworkers and traffic, there's just not a ton to say.
- I sat down last night and actually put together a to-do list for most of the days this week. So far today I've already knocked off everything I added. So does that mean I put too little on there or I've just been really productive today? Maybe a little of both - but I'm trying to have more realistic expectations of what I can get accomplished, because #1 item on the to-do list is Joshua and so if he needs me to play with him, then that's what I'll do. Today he's been pretty self-entertaining and actually seemed fascinated while watching me vacuum. Just wait, little boy, one day that chore will be yours!
- We watched episode 2 of The Middle Man last night off the DVR - still awesome and funny and clever and delightful. If you haven't checked it out yet, you're missing out!
- I watched the Next Food Network Star while I used the elliptical this morning (see - I even had time to exercise today - go me!) and was basically pleased with the elimination. I also took some time to choose icons for the remaining contestants. Because it seemed like the thing to do. I'll put those last, to avoid spoiling it for anyone.
- I'm watching Design Star for the first time this season as well. I may need a reality TV intervention sometime soon - though I will say at least I watch shows that require you to have a talent of some sort. (Work with me here, k?) I'll say that I enjoy it, but if I was to miss it (if I were to miss it? I never can remember.) I wouldn't cry.
- And to throw in things to bring up at my intervention - Project Runway Season 5 starts soon. I know, I know. Really. I do.
- We're working our way through the latest season of Dr. Who right now. Excellent season (and hey, not a reality show!) thus far. Donna took a while to grow on me, and she honestly hasn't completely succeeded - I was glad that Martha came back for a few episodes and rumor has it that Rose is back for a few episodes, too. So..we'll see how it goes. But so far I'm happy - of course, they're changing directors/producers after this season, so it could all go pear shaped next season. Let's hope not.
- We also (finally) watched the last two episodes of Moonlight. Anyone know if this has been picked up for another season? I'm on the fence about it and not completely convinced that even if they do pick it up that I'll watch. But...dunno.
- And after that burst of TV watching (not all this weekend) we're actually starting to run out of our DVR buffer. Happily the summer season starts soon.
Ok, spoilers follow (because I didn't pick a picture for who went home yesterday on TNFNS) - left with us so far (and I think, overall, that they're the right ones to be left) are:
Shane. Hopefully he'll not win. I would not watch his show. He just has...well...very little personality.
Kelsey. I'm over her. But she should make it close to the end. Final 3 probably.
Adam. He needs to go next week. Maybe should've gone this week.
Aaron. Right now, he's my pick for winner - but he's gonna have to step up his game if he wants it. But of the contestants, his is the show that I'd be willing to give a chance.
Lisa. I guess I might watch her show...but I still see the lolcat and wonder if she haz a bukkit.
Kelsey just needs some growing up. She's a little too much, but she's interesting to watch. Kind of like a train wreck.
ReplyDeleteShane has potential, but I just don't see it yet.
Kelsy needs to grow up, Aaron needs to realize he is a favorite, and Adam needs to GO. Now.
