Plugging the Holes

Apparantly I am a round, sweet candy with a stick...i.e. a sucker. I ought to just change my name to Lolli-Pop and be done with it. I really want to stay technical. I desire greatly to continue programming. And yet...because no one else in this forsaken wasteland that we call a company is capable of writing and documenting, I'm going to be stuck as the 'Business Analyst'. Why? Well...because I opened my mouth and before my brain fully engaged I mentioned that I have done this for years. Grr. So now I've essentially sealed my fate as a proposal writer and requirements documenter for the end of my days. So much for my programming skills.

Trying to find positive applications of this - maybe the following will be true:
1) I can help to establish some sort of actual business/software process instead of the "hair on fire" approach currently established as our MO
2) I can document the flight path of the pigs that begin their aerial ballet shortly after #1 happens

When am I going to learn to keep quiet?!
