No cabbages or Kings today though.
Our bedroom furniture has arrived! And, in a flurry of accompanying activity, the room has been painted and finally decorated. Ah...seven long years to a completed bedroom. I look at the paint and wonder why we didn't do at least that part five years ago when we moved in (or at least four years ago when I had for 100% sure decided on the color.) But, regardless of the timeline, it's done and it looks fantastic. And I even got my firefly twinkle lights up on the curtains. Best of all, since I had surgery Friday -- I didn't have to do any of the work! Yay. (: Nothing better than having your husband coddle you while he works to get all your honey-dos taken care of.
I also have finished one of the two baby blankets I am slaving away on. Yay. So now I need to run and exchange the yarn for the second one and get something that will work. I hadn't realized how awful to work with the yarn I bought would be. Super soft, yes. Super annoying to work with. Also yes. I like making the blankets, I am not going to suffer through crappy yarn and turn the things into a chore. So...hopefully Michaels will exchange with me since I am sans receipt.
Beyond that. The surgery wasn't horrible. Not that I'm volunteering to do it every day, mind you, but gum grafts, should you ever decide you need them (or more to the point, should your dentist decide you need them) aren't horrible, life changing events. I'm swollen and a bit sore and still on the "take it easy" and "mushy food" aspect of things, but otherwise, hasn't been horrid. Though I think I had a slightly easier time with my wisdom teeth coming out -- but I had a super easy time with that.
And that is that. I am now off to consider why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings.

Are you just sailing through? Hmm... thats not the exact phrase she used. But you know what I mean.
