Happiness: Just $3.99

So whoever said you can't buy happiness has clearly never lived within driving, walking, hiking or other method of getting to a Starbucks. Because, for just $3.99 you can buy some happiness at your local Starbucks on any given day of the week. For the skeptical among you give this a try and see if I'm wrong: on a warm summer day (preferably 87 degrees or warmer) after spending just under 2 hours in morning rush hour, stop by your local vendor of happiness and order an iced venti vanilla latte. See if happiness does not rush through your veins with that first hit of espresso.

However, I never said it was long lasting happiness, so be warned. When your straw is making that gurgling noise as your root around in the ice cubes left in the bottom of the cup looking for another sip of ambrosia, the happiness will begin, ever so slowly, to ebb. But it should set you up for at least half a day. Of course, you can always run out and "re up" your happiness for the low, low price of $3.99.

And for those dieters among you, fear not! I have it on good authority that the caffiene in the drink burns off any and all extra calories that might otherwise scare you away from said nirvana.

If it can ease the pain of my commute, it can ease any pain you might experience.
