Living in a Shoe Store

I have decided that my life currently most resembles that of a stock-girl in a poorly organized shoe store. Why? Because so many of the other shoes have dropped that this can be the only explanation for why they keep dropping.

Either that or it's raining shoes.

(Go ahead, sing along. I know it's stuck in your head just like it just got stuck in mine.)

For all that, I wish it really WAS a shoestore instead of the cluster here in proposal land. Why?
1. If it was really raining shoes, eventually I'd find two things that went together
2. Can you really ever have too many shoes?

But all that aside - it is Friday. Yay! Tonight I think we're going to go see The Brothers Grimm - if it's worthwhile I'll post a review later on. (Though I know noone actually reads this except the people who are going to the movie with me. Prove me wrong. I dare you. ;)

And....once again my building has working fountains! Double yay! I didn't realize how much I missed the happy sounds of running water when I left the office to run to the bathroom until they started back up. It is very peaceful though.

I have a mental bet on how long they'll manage to run before they break again. I'm guessing a month. Probably will be shorter, but I'm trying to be optimistic. See, somehow they got them tied into the fire sprinkler system. Apparantly this is bad. All I know is we went through the drain-refill-drain-refill cycle three or four times. Then the whack a hole in the concrete, fix pipes, reset concrete fill-drain-fill-drain-whack new hole cycle. Then we tried the sealant on top of all that...so maybe that'll be the answer. Though they haven't put the rocks back in yet, so I'm guessing they got tired of moving the rocks in and out and in and out. Regardless...today is Fountains: Day 1.

On top of that...did you know Eagles could swim? Things you learn while drinking Snapple.
