Ok, by popular demand - the girls
At Play - the two black, white and tan ones are mine, the red one is my dad's dog over for a visit. The girls like to herd him while he fetches.
And at Rest (their second favorite activity)

Your girls are BIG! So adorable! You must have lots of fun playing with them.
ReplyDeleteAw...precious! I love them already. Are they sisters? Thanks for sharing! And what is boy dog carrying in his mouth? Looks like a varmit.
ReplyDeleteThe Aussies come in this color too.
What are their names?
ReplyDeleteWhat cute dogs! But then I am definitely a dog person so that makes me biased!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteThey're half-sisters (same mom, different dads, different litters). The older one is Cassiopia (Cassi) - she's the slightly bigger one (in the top pic she's on the left closest to the tree, in the bottom she's on the red pillow) She's about 23 pounds and right around 13 inches at the shoulder (pretty standard for the breed though a little big for a female).
ReplyDeleteMegabyte (Meg) is the smaller one leaping in the top picture and on the blue pillow in the bottom one. She's right about 14 pounds and 11ish inches at the shoulder. If I could get her to obey I would do agility training with her, but she just doesn't like to come when called and I can't think that's a good combo for agility :)
Duke (dad's dog in the top picture) is carrying his favorite toy which is a stuffed sand castle. If that ever gets lost I think it will break his heart.
i love shelties sooo much they r my fav dogs i love them i want 1 soo badly. were did u get yours?
ReplyDeleteWe got them in South Carolina, actually, from a breeder. You can go to any number of websites to locate a breeder in your area or many will advertise in the paper classifieds - check to see if they register their litters with the AKC as that will help with making sure you're getting quality dogs and not puppymill products.
