How to write a bestseller

1. Copy extensively from a book you've read
2. Find a publisher who doesn't do huge amounts of due dilligence as far as plagiarism goes
3. Near release date of book (or release date of movie based on book) start anonymous rumor charging plagiarism, include details of a few instances (best if a newspaper of some sort can pick this up and run with it.)
4. Deny charges vehemently
5. After appropriate media frenzy has occurred, state that it must've been unintentional
6. Sit back and watch the sales roll in

  2. Yeah, I was thinking of 2 in particular (the current 2) but this is in no way the first time it's gone on. Guess you gotta give points for creative thinking?
