Ok, time for another round of Inquiring Minds -- time to fess up:
McAfee (virus protection people)
MAC - uh-fee
OR
Mick-aaa-fee
Edited to add additional options:
1) Beth, you're a geek, no normal person wonders this.
2) I use Norton. Duh.
3) Some combination of the original options and one of the additional 2

The latter.
ReplyDeleteHee. See, now. I do not even know what you are talking about. 8-}
ReplyDeleteGwynne...really? That just seems...wrong. Or are you a Norton person? Cause you gotta have something!
ReplyDeleteI'm a MAC-uh-fee person myself.
Mik ah' fee
ReplyDeleteI live in a blessedly sheltered world with an IT dept (that shuts its door when they see me coming) and have no idea. Really. I think we have a Great Wall of Iron up in Cleveland, but I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs an IT department like that, Gwynne. Of course, I leave all of the virus-prevention/firewall/whatever stuff to Tim, so maybe he's my IT department?
ReplyDeleteI use the latter as well but I must admit I've moved over to Norton. It works better with my home network!
ReplyDeleteI used to pronounce it muh-CAF-fee. I now pronounce it MAC-uh-fee.
ReplyDeleteIt's a question you pose. I have no idea what's right or wrong. All I know is I like shortcuts, so I say Mac-Fee.
