Ok, so I saw this quiz on both Jen and CalTechGirl's blogs. I'll warn you, it's bizarre. And I am not entirely sure how exactly the questions from the quiz relate to anything, but...without further ado, my sleep position (below the fold -- note that I figured out how to do the fold-y thing. I'm rather psyched.)
Find your own pose!
This is, apparently, the chosen position of choice for people who are awkward or remote. Who respond to telephone messages with email (*cough* Um. Guilty?) Or spend their lunches walking rather than socializing (well...I actually just sit at my desk and eat while working, so still not socializing). Ah, here's something positive though "When a colonist finds their mate, together they acquire a grace and ease that surprises their friends and family." Have to say that part's true too. Maybe I am awkward and remote and just don't know it? Nah. I'll just give it a 75% accuracy rating.
On the surface, the Cliffhanger might seem like an angry pose, the aftermath of a heated argument or years of misunderstanding. Really the pose is an elegant expression of two people in sublime agreement about the supremacy of personal comfort. Both parties believe that when it comes to getting a good night's sleep, the sides of the bed are its most prime real estate, and both are practical enough to recognize that the only way for everyone to get the best of the bed is to split up.
ReplyDeleteJust the name of that position makes me nervous. The whole test is unnerving. "My" position is Excalibur...which just seems dangerous really. Maybe it's just me.
ReplyDeleteYeah...like I said, not for the faint of heart! So...you sleep with swords handed out by watery tarts? Cool.
