Toilet removed? Check.
Sink removed? Check.
Nasty smelling water from sink trap mopped up? (gag) Check.
Time to begin removal of the tile!
Of course, we have noticed on major issue - the whole reason for this remodel is that the toilet wobbled to the point of being a dangerous appliance to use when one sat upon it. After removal, we find that the ring thingy that it was attached to is so broken (from poor initial installation - no support under it and overtightened bolts) that a plumber is necessitated. So that part of the redo will have to wait until later. Ah well, we weren't expecting to do this all today.
