Doing My Part for the Planet

So today at Wegmans, the elder boy had a bottle of juice from lunch along for a ride with him in the oh-so-tricky-to-find car cart. When he had finished it, and he was sitting with my sister waiting for me to finish checking out, she said, "Why don't you go put that in the trash?"

He looked at her very seriously, pointed to the little recycling arrows on the bottle and said, "We always recycle everything."

(Not sure about the always and everything, but we do try...and it's his job at home to put things in the bin. He loves that and gets very annoyed if you do it for him. Anyway, it gave me a chuckle.)
