So...after taking a break from the uninspired I'm back at blogging, thinking that perhaps this is a way to relieve the relative boredom of my new job. (Yes, new jobs are supposed to be less boring than old jobs, I get that, but apparantly employers don't.) I decided I needed another outlet for the boredom because I caught myself logging into my webmail and, when seeing no new messages, sitting there and clicking send/receive three or four times just to be sure. I also don't imagine they'd be overly thrilled to know the huge amount of time I spend chatting on AOL Instant Messenger with my sister...who works in the office next door. And no, I don't mean the building next door, I mean literally like eight feet away (and less than that if you can walk through walls.) Why not chat in person? Cause then it looks like we're not working. This way we're studiously typing away - clearly being productive members of the workforce. Just like now.
That said, I think I still get more done in a given hour than two or three other people in this office manage in a week. Not sure who that says more about.
