Grr. Why do people always seem to think that because I'm a programmer (and can therefore develop and deploy web apps) I should somehow magically have the knowledge to fix their stinking badly configured IIS install? I know just enough about IIS to deploy something - that's it! The whole Kerberos/NTFS thing - no idea how to fix it. All I know is that for whatever reason the anonymous access checkbox isn't actually allowing anonymous access to the system. *sigh*

You're a step ahead of me. I don't even know what IIS is.
ReplyDeleteCount your blessings. It is the embodiment of evil.
ReplyDeleteI did, however, finally fix my problem. Of course, this just makes them think that I can do it again in the future.
I can relate to that but in a library sense...hehe
