A Surefire Recipe for the Flu

Play in the first snow of the year one day. Fly to balmy, 80 degree Florida the next.

I'm in Florida for school this weekend - this should be the last time I come down here other than graduation. My dissertation adviser isn't local either, so I don't see us needing to meet in person or in Florida, honestly. To me this is just a nice reminder that the end is near - and that is a good thing. A very good thing.

And as a nice side benefit, I can go to bed early tonight because it's not like there's anything on TV to keep me up late. So maybe I can catch up on a little sleep. That'd also be a good thing.
