The Taste of Freedom?

Today, because it has been raining (although we are right this red hot second seeing the sun) non-stop for what feels like forever, and because I think we're all suffering from a HUGE case of the blahs, I threw the kids in the car and we drove through Chick-Fil-A for lunch.

First up - there are so many people out and about I feel like we might be the only ones actually staying home right now.

Second - and it may simply be because we haven't been eating out very often - gosh that was delicious. Every bite was a little nibble of fried chickeny heaven.

I don't imagine CFA has changed or improved on their food (which I have always liked, to be fair), but after like eight weeks of not having it?

Yum.

I do wish Chuy's wasn't operating on a limited menu. I realize the whys, I get them, but they nixed the two things we love best, so we haven't been doing curbside from them. And I miss my amazing Mexican food, too.

Regardless, it was nice to get out of the house. Both boys were looking around the van like it was a previously undiscovered country.

I'll admit to laughing.
