Supposedly there's a big old snow coming our way.
I have to say, I'm not getting my hopes up. We'll see, of course, because every now and then they get it right and we actually DO get some snow. But more often than not, it's just mass panic buying of toilet paper and milk (question: since they're still rationing, or I guess I should say "re-rationing" toilet paper, what will the snow panic buyers do?) and then bupkis.
Of that rain/slush/sleet crap that makes everything unbearable.
I guess the public schools are now facing the dilemma of homeschoolers everywhere re: snowdays. We're pretty much off til the new year here at the Sleepy School for Exceptional Boys, so it's a non issue, but generally speaking we've tended to do school on "snow days" because really, it takes an hour and you can't stay out in the cold all day.
I guess we'll see what we see.
I'd be up for some snow, myself. Except, of course, that youngest has vision therapy on Wednesday afternoons and we're two away from being finished. And Thursday I'm supposed to have a skin check to make sure I don't have new skin cancer popping up. And after that I was going to head to my sister's to help her as she's a week out from chemo which is always her hardest time and she could use a hand.
So...there's that.
