Life in a Museum

Now that we're fully in June, we're ticking down closer to closing on the new house. Has our current house sold yet?

Hahaha. Of course not.

I have no doubt that it will, but still. It's a pain.

There's nothing quite so delightful as living in a museum -- we've got all the little things squirreled away in boxes in the garage. Including most of the toys. Which is creating great joy for the boys as you might imagine.

And since people apparently don't like my kitchen backsplash, I spent most of yesterday painting said tile white so it's neutral instead of a cobalt blue and white checkerboard. It looks fine. Nice even. But it's SO boring.

But maybe boring and neutral are the same.

Regardless, maybe it'll make someone look at my kitchen and be a little friendlier to it and thus incline them to buy the house.

More open houses this weekend, if we don't end up finding a buyer prior to that. Yay.
