All the gardening talk (here and over at the Llamabutchers) has started me wondering...

    Mine is just starting to bloom. I'll take a picture to share, cuz they're be-a-utiful (in general, I mean...I only have one but it's no prize specimen or anything).

    Here in the Midwest, they're Pee-OH-knees, but since I've lived all over and am not bound to any particular regional inflection, I call them Pee-uh-knees. It's my prerogative. ;-)

    Definitely PEE-uh-knees for me. Mine havent bloomed yet either but i have many many big bulbs just waiting to burst.

    PEE-uh-knees. :-)

    I called them "pee-OH-knees" when I was reading the Anne of Green Gables books as a kid. ;-)
