This delightful romantic comedy will have you contemplating how good the movie 27 Dresses could have been if it had been based on this book instead. Jessie Stone is a hopeless romantic who has been creating the perfect proposal and wedding in her mind since her childhood. Unfortunately, they've stayed in her journal and never become reality. Then one day God appears to her in the flesh (and honestly, it's not hokey at all, despite how it sounds when I write it out) and shows her what can happen when she trusts Him to write the story of her life instead of trying to be in control.
It's a quick read that you won't want to put down that leaves you with a happy sigh and a challenge to evaluate where you might be holding on instead of trusting your future to His plans.
