Book Review: The Ale Boy's Feast

This is the fourth (and I believe final) book in the Auralia Thread series by Jeffrey Overstreet. If you haven't read all of the previous installments, back away from the book now. You will be hopelessly lost. (I speak from experience here - I had only read one and thought that I might have enough of the background. Not so, my friend, not so.)

While I had a terrible time trying to follow the story, I blame that solely on not having read the prior books. The writing is good and the word pictures that Overstreet creates are delightful. There's a rich fantasy world in these pages waiting to be discovered.

If you like fantasy and Christian lit, this series would be a good thing to look into if you haven't already. Just be sure to begin with the first book.
