So, in honor of hurricane Alex, South Carolinians are rushing out to buy bread and milk. As always. I understand the bread, but what's the milk for? If you lose power, your milk will go bad. Shouldn't you stock up on water and bread? That will keep even with a long power outage. I just don't get the milk...unless it's just to try and keep the grocery stores from losing money on THEIR spoiled milk. Plus, what do you do with all your stuff if the power doesn't go out?

You'll be happy to know that, for Hurricane Charley, " Residents along Florida's southwestern coast were preparing for havoc, boarding up homes with plywood and buying supplies such as water, canned food and batteries."
ReplyDeletedoes water, canned food, and batteries please you more than eggs, bread, and toilet paper? :)
