Unless you count a fussy, hiccupy baby who won't nap, despite the dark circles under his eyes, a husband who is practicing/making up Native American rain chants in hopes of removing some of the allergens from the air so that he might breathe, and an aging puppy dog who hurt herself whirling with glee when it was time to eat this morning and is still limping six hours later.
In other news, I've temporarily taken leave of my senses and will be tackling a knitting project soon. I'm a crochet girl most of the time. I don't know if I just don't have the hand eye coordination to rock the double needle or what, but knitting and I have a long, sordid history. However, I told my sister I would make fingerless gloves for her and found a pattern we both like and, of course, there aren't any good crochet patterns for said gloves (which I get - because crochet always ends up...chunky. And who wants chunky gloves?) So, we'll give it a shot. She laughs because I'm going to start them now, and so she thinks I'll be done with them in the summer when it's too hot to need them. What she doesn't seem to realize is that this sweater is still not finished. In fact, I'm pretty sure the back panel still isn't finished.
She'll get them in winter. No promises on winter of what year though.

I've got sewing project started in 1982! Of course, I would never fit into anything that I started in 1982, nor would I dare walk around in public in some of the styles dating back to 1982, but still, I hate to throw away perfectly good fabric. ;-)
