Grrrr

I have an email account that I mostly don't use anymore, though I still occasionally get email to it that is worth having, so I forward it to the email I primarily use. On Saturday, I noticed that I wasn't getting the spam that I usually get. I don't mind this, certainly, but that suggested to me that there was a problem with said account, since the reason I stopped using it was that it was getting annoying to sort through all the spam. So, after investigation, I saw that it appeared that my account had been hacked and the password changed. I got that all sorted and it worked fine again....right up til this evening, when I noticed that the account I forward it to hadn't been able to access that account since this morning (after the rigamarole on Saturday I've started checking to make sure it's accessing the account more often.) Further investigation found that it had been hacked again.

This kills me. I use a password generator - it's not like I'm choosing stupid things like lollipop for my password. Beyond that? It's just irritating. Seriously irritating.

So they've made a note that I suspect fraud in my account...but I think I may call tomorrow and just have them delete it. And just go with my new account that I like better anyway since it catches spam much more effectively.

Still, it's frustrating and annoying and it leaves you feeling vaguely violated...even if it is just an email account that you hardly ever use.
