So, Where Were We?

Oh that's right...getting into the Christmas spirit.

I place the light blogging firmly at the door of the fact that I am now 100% finished with my Christmas shopping. That doesn't necessarily mean that there won't be a few more gifts finding their way home but everything I'm planning to get has been gotten. And today I even managed to figure out what to get Tim, which is always my big dilemma. (I thought I had it squared away, but then the game I was going to get him got delayed until March, which kinda stinks.)

Still no movement on the PhD - I think I'm going to have to goose the IRB lady to see what's going on because I had thought it was a straightforward "send me signatures I send you an approval" but that was 3 weeks ago.

I made a flash ad for my friend Michelle who has two new books coming out in the spring - I'm really happy with how it turned out and I think she is as well (which is really more important). (I do have a few more tweaks to make, but I plan to finish those tonight so, you know, in my head it's finished.)

Beyond that, they're projecting snow this weekend and I'm totally jazzed...fingers crossed that it actually shows up!
