So I see the CDC, in their never ending quest to make sure we all just do whatever they say because, like Mom, they said so, has decided to change up the definition of "vaccine."
Of course, this is because, as anyone with a brain has noticed, the current "vaccine" in question is not, actually, a vaccine under the traditional (read: Webster) definition. [ed - DOH! I hit up ol Webster to check and the online version has already been brought into compliance with the new regime.] It's gene therapy. It's always been gene therapy. They actually messed up in the beginning and mentioned that aloud, then quickly started talking "vaccine" because gene therapy is scary.
But also, said "vaccine" is really a prophylactic. Or as we call it here in this house, "the covid condom."
Of course, rather than just being up front and saying, "Hey, y'all, this is still (to us) worth doing because it will help prevent you DYING from the covids even though it doesn't stop you from getting or transmitting it. So here. Want a free poke in the arm?" we're instead going to re-write the dictionary so that we can call it a vaccine. Dammit.
Now, however, I am going to be calling my vitamins vaccines as well. Under the new definition ("provides protection against disease") they totally qualify.
Here, child, take your Flintstones vaccines. Chew 'em up.
Mmm. Daily vaccines.
I weep for the world.
