Blog Tour: White Picket Fences

White Picket Fences tells the story of Tally as she goes to stay with her aunt and uncle while her father is in Europe searching for treasure and her grandmother passes away unexpectedly. Tally's dad has always been the free spirit (her aunt uses a less kind description) and so Tally is not surprised when he loses contact and her stay is extended. As she gets a glance of what has always looked to her like the perfect family life, Tally realizes that there's more under the surface than any of them let on.

Through a joint high school filming project that involves interviewing two Holocaust survivors, Tally and her cousin Chase get to know one another and help each other face the nightmares of their past that threaten to destroy their future.

This is an engrossing book that sucks you in and doesn't let you go until you turn the final page. Several twists (some predicted, others definitely not) leave you wondering what the next chapter will hold and keep you turning pages well into the night. Definitely worth a read!
