If anyone was wondering, the maple trees are busily doing their part to re-leaf currently.
Tree pollen is hands down my worst allergy and the pounding in my noggin and itching eyes tell me long before I head over to the pollen website to look. It's good times, for sure.
A gentleman knocked on the door this morning to ask me if I wanted to sign up to be a delegate to the Republican convention to nominate the party's choice for governor. I'm afraid he got a bit more of an earful than he really wanted, but long story short, I declined.
I just don't have a lot of faith in either of the parties these days. And we all know they'll nominate the most ridiculous of the lot running for governor because they'll be trying to choose someone who can win vs. someone who would actually do good things. But someone who can win is going to basically be a democrat with a coat of red paint slapped on 'em.
I'm grateful my actual faith isn't dependent on politics.
Short and random today, I guess, as there's much to do and so very little motivation to handle any of it. And yet.
