The sign went up in the front yard today. The pictures were taken this morning. Yesterday, the cleaners I hired for a deep clean were here for five hours (I feel a little bad for the, but the house looks amazing now.) It's starting to feel real. Realer? (Because it's impossible to not know you're moving when you spend a week putting things in boxes and then stacking said boxes in your garage.)
The boys are all camping this weekend. Because of course the campout is during a weekend of record-breaking temperatures. Poor things.
Although there was talk of water balloons and so forth this afternoon, so I'm sure they'll be fine. For me? I'm happy with the SleepyPup here in the A/C.
Also I have a cold or who knows what (the rona? I mean maybe. But I just had it in January, plus shots, so really it seems excessive to have again if that's what it is.) Low grade fever, runny nose, sore throat (which I think is from nasal runoff as much as anything.) What I do know is that it's annoying.
Hubs and I are having the discussion of how we move. Do we hire people to do it all? Do we do the packing and hire people to load and shift it? Do we pack and move the boxes and hire people just to do the furniture?
These are questions.
I am grateful that we are at least not asking "should we just move everything ourselves" because we have some stinking heavy furniture that I really don't want to be tasked with hefting. See also: a grand piano.
And I guess that wasn't as truly random as it might have been, but it's what my muddly brain came up with.
